They were privileged to view a WWII memorabilia display. Taking a cue from the WWII historical novel, “Pocket of Guilt,” survival was chosen for the event theme. Lucky winners claimed door prizes such as filled backpacks, medical kits, and goodie baskets.
A wonderful surprise for Dora Lee was seeing her brother, Don Smith and his wife Cristie, arrive clad in costumes of WWII. Don wore a German army uniform and Cristie wore a dress and hat reminiscent of the forties.
